HB 2455    RELATING TO THE COLLEGE SAVINGS PROGRAM        HED,FIN
        Makes technical amendments to provisions which
        established the college savings program.

HB 2760    RELATING TO THE COLLEGE SAVINGS PROGRAM        HED,FIN
        Allows the tax deduction of contributions made to a
        college savings program under chapter 256, HRS.

HB 2069    RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII BOARD OF REGENTS
                                                       HED,JHA
        Extends the terms of the members of the board of
        regents of the University of Hawaii to ten years and
        compensates them.  Requires the governor to submit
        board nominees to an evaluation commission for an
        evaluation.

HB 2067    PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE 10, SECTION 6, OF
        THE HAWAII CONSTITUTION, TO CHANGE THE SELECTION
        PROCESS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII BOARD OF REGENTS  
                                                      HED, JHA
        Proposes constitutional amendments to the selection
        process of the University of Hawaii board of regents.

 
 
 
 
 
HB 2812    PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE X, SECTION 6, OF THE
        HAWAII CONSITUTION, TO PROVIDE THE UNIVERSITY OF
        HAWAII WITH AUTONOMY IN ALL MATTERS        HED/JHA,FIN
        Constitutional amendment to give UH autonomy in all
        matters related to the university.

HB 2813    RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII       HED,LAB/FIN
        Provides complete autonomy to the University of
        Hawaii, by making its status comparable to that of the
        judiciary.  Makes all employees subject to the
        university's personnel system.  Eliminates director of
        finance and governor from the university budgetary
        process.

HB 2060    RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII           HED,FIN
        Authorizes the University of Hawaii community colleges
        to deposit their special fund revenues into system
        special funds.

HB 2062    RELATING TO HIGHER EDUCATION                   HED,FIN
        Allows UH to carry over funds from one year to the
        next.

HB 2900    MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII
        AT MANOA                                       HED,FIN
        Appropriates funds for special education teacher
        training at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
